Spanish Civil War Tour

The 1936 -1939 conflict casts a long shadow over Spain.

We explore its origins and battles as the war ebbed and flowed between one side and another including tours and museum visits to understand the causes of history of the bloody conflict. Barcelona was at the epicentre and saw in-fighting and street battles for much of the conflict. Its fall and the departure of the International Brigades marked the end of the Republic and the beginning of a 40 year dictatorship.


Gaudi and Dali Art Tours
